Santa Rosa Junior College Healthcare Scholarship
The Santa Rosa Junior College Healthcare Scholarship is designed to support dedicated students enrolled in a healthcare related program at SRJC. This scholarship intends to recognize academic excellence, a commitment to healthcare, and demonstrated passion for serving the community.
Eligible applicants must be actively pursuing an Associate of Science degree in fields such as nursing, radiologic technology, or dental hygiene offered at the college. By providing financial assistance, the scholarship seeks to ease the burden of tuition and educational expenses, empowering students to focus on their training and future careers in healthcare. Applications are open September 1 and close January 15.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS
Applicant must:
- Be a woman.
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada currently living in Sonoma County.
- Be enrolled as a student at Santa Rosa Junior College.
- Have the intention of completing an Associate Degree in a healthcare field.
- Have a minimum 2.5 GPA in a degree related program, e.g. AS or AA.
- Demonstrate consistent, sustained service to the community.
- Demonstrate financial need.
