Scholarships

The P.E.O. organization offers scholarships at the local, state, and international levels to support women in achieving their educational goals.

Locally, Chapter JO offers two scholarships for women who are Sonoma County residents and are U.S. Citizens or legal permanent residents. The STEM Scholarship is available to eligible High School senior women from Santa Rosa High Schools who desire to major in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) field and attend a 2- or 4- year college or university. The Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) Healthcare Scholarship is available to eligible SRJC students who are majoring in healthcare. Applications open September 1 and close January 15.

At the state level, the California State Chapter administers over fifty scholarships and grants to women who are California residents, as well as U.S. Citizens or legal permanent residents with one application. Internationally, P.E.O. sponsors a number of scholarships, loans, and grants for women as they pursue their educational goals. Except for International Peace Scholars, all applicants must be women who are U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. All International Scholarships require sponsorship from a local P.E.O.
